Florence Pugh was a vision in red as she brought some welcome colour to the Golden Globes 2024 on Monday, wearing a floaty semi-sheer custom Valentino dress. Combining the colour of the season with 2023's corsage trend through the 3D floral elements that adorned the gown, Pugh looked phenomenal – and in keeping with her signature glam-with-an-edge style, no less.

The actor attended the Golden Globes alongside her Oppenheimer costars, with the film sweeping five awards at the event, including one for Best Motion Picture – Drama.

They were surely some of the biggest platforms that the Golden Globes red carpet has ever seen. Of course, Valentino made sky-high platforms one of the biggest shoe trends of 2023, and Florence Pugh is no stranger to them herself – but these metallic numbers look particularly hefty. The designer of her peekaboo platform is as yet unknown – but we know where our best guess goes.
