13 best G-spot vibrators to supercharge your masturbation, according to a sexologist in 2023
G-spot vibrators are the dark horse of the vibrator world. Among so much debate around whether the G-spot actually exists (more on that later) – and an on-going struggle for many women to orgasm from penetration and G-spot stimulation alone – G-spot vibrators have long been pushed aside in favour of other sex toys. Y'know: the clitoral vibrators that are pretty much guaranteed to serve up a speedy orgasm, or the bullet vibrators, rabbit vibrators and wand vibrators that do a similar thing.
But listen up: stimulating the G-spot – the pleasure point found between five and eight centimetres up the front vagina wall – results in intense orgasms for many women. And those women should not be forgotten. Since having good orgasms is a crucial part of your self-care routine, we're keen to find how best to achieve them any which way. Enter: our guide to the best G-spot vibrators on the market to help you hit the, well… spot. Aided by ~all~ the intel from Cameron Long-tel, Sex-Educator and Sexpert from LELO.

Let's take things one step at a time: what is the G-spot?
“The G-spot is actually a very debated term,” Cameron told us. “It may or may not exist – and there’s a huge misconception of it being some magic button within your vagina that is the key to pleasure.”
Also known as the Gräfenberg spot (named after German-Jewish gynaecologist and early pioneer of sexual health, Ernst Gräfenberg), “many studies have proved it’s not an anatomic entity, but rather an area or ‘zone’ within the vagina, different for everyone, that is sensitive to touch and capable of producing an orgasm with intense stimulation."
“There’s also a misconception that the G-spot is distinct from the clitoris, when in fact these two spots go hand in hand and the G-spot is actually our internal clitoris,” Cameron continued. The clitoris and G-spot are physically quite close, so this pleasure has more to do with the type of pressure that is being put on the clitoral bulbs and Skene's glands, rather than any one “spot” in particular. ICYMI: the Skene's glands are located on either side of the urethra and are thought to be responsible for vaginal secretions during arousal.
Though Cameron explains that “we need to stop obsessing over the G-spot, and realise that it is an extension of the clitoris," if you're trying to find an internal pleasure point, you should be aiming for a patch of spongy tissue around five-eight centimeters up the front of the vaginal wall. It swells and becomes sensitive when you're aroused. You can use your fingers in a “come hither” motion to reach it, applying firm pressure, or you can use one of the best G-spot vibrators from this edit.
The number of sex toy stores is burgeoning.
Can people with vulvas orgasm from G-spot stimulation alone?
“Some women can experience intense orgasms from internal G-spot stimulation alone, whilst most experience orgasms from direct, external, clitoral stimulation,” Cameron said. “But it isn’t anything you need to stress about, because either way, an orgasm is an orgasm, and rest assured, it will feel pretty good whatever form it comes to you.”
And what is a G-spot vibrator? How is a G-spot vibrator different to other kinds of vibrator?
“G-spot vibrators are designed specifically for G-spot stimulation and are designed to be inserted into the vagina,” Cameron said. “Other vibrators, like a clitoral vibrator are primarily for external use and target clitoral stimulation.” They come in many designs and forms, but the main giveaway is that it'll have a curved shape or bulbous head to hit the so-called spot. Some are curved, some are ribbed and some can be used in the shower.
“Although they are designed for penetration, they don’t go as deep as a dildo and the focus is all on targeting the G-spot deemed to be located up the front of the vaginal wall,” Cameron added.
What is the best g-spot vibrator?
“If you’re looking for a stand alone G-spot vibrator, the So Divine Self Pleasure Rechargeable G-Spot Vibrator is a great choice,” Cameron recommended. "It’s smooth and slim and easy to use, with a curved head that targets the G-spot for intense orgasms, but it’s adjustable speed settings mean you can really explore that zone and see what feels best for you.
“For those after the best of both worlds, the LELO Enigma, or the Smile Maker - Tennis Pro, are both an internal and external vibrator that enables you to stimulate either the clitoris and the G-spot - great for beginners who want to explore where they experience the most pleasure.”
What is the difference between a clitoral and g-spot vibrator?
A clitoral vibrator focuses largely on external stimulation, towards the clitoral hood, labia majora and minora, as well as, of course, the clitoris itself. These type of vibrators - like, for instance, the Je Joue Mimi - often set out to mimic the feeling of oral sex. Meanwhile a g-spot vibrator - like the We-Vibe Rave - attempts to imitate penetrative sex or fingering, using internal stimulation to target the body's inner erogenous zones.
Thanks to dual motors, you can now buy vibrators that act as both clitoral and g-spot vibrators. Killing two birds etc. etc.
