I'm a beauty editor and these are the 28 new products I'm buying in 2024
Chalk it up to a tired ingredients roster or overexposure on TikTok – either way, January brings with it an appetite for change. And the best new beauty products of 2024 don't disappoint; they're anything but predictable and promise to reinvigorate a lacklustre skincare, makeup and hair routine.
It's also a time for careful curation to ensure that our regimes don't balloon to excess while simultaneously ensuring we streamline to just Holy Grail products. You know the ones: the science-backed serum that targets specific concerns rather than adopting a scattergun effect. The haircare product that is so out-of-this world it could have been created by a NASA scientist and makeup with superior blending and punchy pigments to make skin sing.

Clarins Multi Active Day Cream
Another key skincare trend for 2024 is solutions for stressed-out skin. Leading the charge are scientists at Clarins, who have zeroed in on how stress magnifies fine lines, uneven skin tone, dehydration and a lack of luminosity. The reformulated Multi Active Day Cream contains 2% niacinamide, a multitasker known for its skin-smoothing, pore-refining and collagen-boosting properties. But more impressively, Clarins has collaborated with Takasago, a neuroscience fragrance house in Japan, to include relaxing scent molecules that keep you in a blissed-out state.
