The Bear season 2 has finally landed in the UK

So ready for all the kitchen chaos.
The Bear season two

The Bear was a massive hit when it was released last year, and thankfully, we haven't had too much of a wait as the second season is now out!

Yes, the next instalment of the chaotic world of a sandwich shop kitchen has now hit Disney+ and follows on from the story of young chef Carmy Berzatto who is forced to return home from the world of fine dining in Chicago to run his family sandwich shop after tragic passing in his family.

As strong-willed Carmy, who is played by Jeremy Allen White in the award-winning series, fights to transform the small business, which is worlds away from what he is used to, he finds a close bond and unity with his rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew.

Having taken references from the likes of Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares and the film Chef, the show depicts the brutalities and stark realities of a modern professional kitchen's working environment. It's basically anything but cool, calm and collected...

And now Jeremy and his co-stars Ayo Edebiri and Ebon Moss-Bachrach with the second instalment, which landed on Disney+ on 19 July, nearly a month after it debuted in the US on 22 June.

"Happy The Bear Season 2 day to those who celebrate. All episodes of FX's #TheBear are now streaming on Disney+," the streamer tweeted in delight to announce the news.

And fans of the first season were beyond thrilled, with one person tweeting: "Me running to Disney+. Seriously didnt expect to like the show as much as I did. Fantastic production. EXCITED!"

"FINALLY! 🤩Let's goooooooo!" another gushed, while a third added: "I got my joy back!".

So what exactly can viewers expect from season 2? Well, the next ten-episode chapter focuses on Carmy and Sydney's efforts in transforming The Original Beef of Chicagoland into an upscale eatery, emphasising training staff and releasing a new menu. Of course, things don't pan out as smoothly as they hope.

The full synopsis for the second season of The Bear reads: "As they strip the restaurant down to its bones, the crew undertakes transformational journeys of their own, each forced to confront the past and reckon with who they want to be in the future.

"Of course, it turns out the only thing harder than running a restaurant is opening a new one, and the team must juggle the insane bureaucracy of permits and contractors with the beauty and creative agony of menu planning.

"The transition brings a newfound focus on hospitality as well. As the entire staff is forced to come together in new ways, pushing the boundaries of their abilities and relationships, they also learn what it means to be in service, both to diners and each other." Sounds nail-biting enough for us!

As we as Jeremy, Ebon, and Ayo, returning cast members include Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, Abby Elliott, Edwin Lee Gibson, Matty Matheson, Oliver Platt and Molly Gordon.

Of course, we're team no spoilers here as we don't want to ruin the watching experience for others who haven't quite gotten around to their binge-watch session yet, but given the first season's critical acclaim (it earned 13 noms for the upcoming Emmy Awards), we're sure it'll serve up a treat.
